Team 4 plus 1

Once it was known that Veerbhadra Hiremath's younger brother Panchakshari was studying in third standard at University School in Gangotri Campus, Bharathi Kannamma pressed Veerbhadra to bring panchakshari to University Canteen after he is done with school at 4 O'Clock in the evening.  It was interview day for me, entire day I had to spend sitting at room waiting for interviewer to allow me in the interview room. Seven Decades, Five I haven't Seen( PART 2)

[ It's a conversation between the father & a son. Father being a enthusiast of Economic & Political History, son a curious listener. It's a typical conversation, where, sometime, father would go on without pause. And son wouldn't ask for a break. While we stood in a line for billing, an assistant came to us and said, sir, you can avoid the long queue if you have Decathlon App. This idea was sensible. We took assistants help and payed through App, it was quick & in no time we were out of the that place. Going little back, when we were waiting in a queue, it occurred to Hanumanth to make a call to Sukesh and ask him if he wants anything from Decathlon, since he is here. The call was received, and Sukesh enquired about skipping rope which counts skip automatically! We asked the assistant if we could get this, and he said, that kind of rope is not available. This ' counting rope' got stuck with me. My immediate reaction when I heard that, was, "are we becoming monkeys again"? This true? such a thing is manufactured? Till then I didn'

It was black & white, he says, and over the years, now, it is just shade of grey. We knew very little of the announcement, we had no source for news, radio, we couldn't afford, newspaper somewhere, largely, it was just word of mouth.  News of Britain willing to grant full self government to British India at the least by 30 June, 1948 was never heard, if we knew it was the case than believe me our joy would have had no bound, a spark in his eyes says it all. However, Mountbatten said to have advanced the date to 15 August 1947, reason being, he fear
